Music for the stage

James has written a large number of Musicals ranging from full scale stage shows (which have been produced in theatres including The Stables, Milton Keynes), to miniature pieces for KS1 pupils to perform as a class (which were staged at The Wycombe Swan theatre)

‘A History of Science: The Musical’ was another collaboration with Alex Buchanan and fetured hilarious songs such as ‘Defining Gravity’ by Isaac Newton, ‘Renaissance Man’, a tribute to Leonardo Da Vinci and ‘Eureka’ sung by Archimedes in his bathrobe.

Comissioned by the Carrington Infants school for Year 2 to perform, James Wrote a short musical for the pupils entitled ‘Our School Turned into a Spaceship’.

Other shows have included a version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for Bishopshalt School and a large version of Robin Hood for the Speen Festival.
