I am a composer, conductor and educator. My choral music has been sung around the world and an album of my music was released on Divine Art Records in 2025. I was selected as one of six composers to have a piece performed by the Tenebrae Choir at London’s Wigmore Hall in January 2026. The Pink Singers sang my best known piece ‘When Darkness Descends‘ at London’s Cadogan Hall and this piece has been embraced by many choirs including those in South Korea, the USA, Germany, France, Latvia and around the UK. I am so glad that the message of finding light in dark times has brought reassurance to many. This is such an important part of all music and I am especially keen that I write pieces to bring people together and that will be enjoyed by performers and audiences.
While I have writen several choral pieces, sometimes for school but also for choirs around the country, my instrumental music has been performed at London’s Festival Hall the International Anthony Burgess Centre in Manchester and recently as a collaboration with Dew Dance at Old Town Hall in High Wycombe. I have written a number of Musicals which have been performed at The Stables, Milton Keynes as well as being recorded and filmed. During one of the Lockdowns, my piece ‘The Botanist’s Dance’ was selected to be played live by Maria Marchant from London’s Blüthner Piano Centre as part of her ‘7 Notes in 7 Days’ series. I composes, direct and play the piano in the Cold Light Ensemble who have performed music from the debut album of my music at the legendary PizzaExpress Jazz Club in Soho as well as St John’s Smith Square.
